It's Sunday night, the racing is finished for the evening. I did okay tonight, the first races on the shiny wood floor were great but we then rolled out the carpet and I struggled to adjust - being beaten and even lapped several times.

You Won't Like Me When I'm Angry Blog
Our blogs are the inside track on our writers. Here, we can go to town on a particular subject, where there isn't space in a review or guide. We have a chance to expand upon and mull over themes that have arrisen as we've played our games.
It's Sunday night, the racing is finished for the evening. I did okay tonight, the first races on the shiny wood floor were great but we then rolled out the carpet and I struggled to adjust - being beaten and even lapped several times.
Writing the song for Yahtzee was the hardest thing I have ever done creatively. If I hadnt repeatedly promised it to everyone Im pretty sure I would have given up. Why would anyone in their right mind put themselves up for such a challenge?
Secretly I have discovered that Rebecca Mayes has hit the national UK papers. A text from a friend: Nice review in the Guardian. An email from my brother: Congrats on the piece in the Independent. It's all news to me. Seems I need to set up google alerts on my own name. How disturbingly narcissistic.
We all started as novices at our Carisma 1/14th car club. But with some reading, trial and error and community support, we are become pretty well informed about out new hobby.
Things are spiralling downhill fast for the Ultramotor Hybrid A2B. After pm enjoyable 18 miles, and without having even had a recharge yet - the battery still registering 2 bars of juice left in it, the bikes computer has thrown up a warning light (see photo) and has promptly gone into sulk mode. My Dan Dare steed has transformed for the worse: Dormant. Powerless. Clumsy.
With the summer months arriving and the daylight lasting longer, we've taken our Carisma R/C club outside. But running these small cars with such low ground clearance means a bit more work to the driving surface.

Our Carisma 1/14th R/C club has been an education for many reasons. But I have benefited most from skills and enthusiasm from other Carisma radio controlled racers.
Families are made up of all ages. So our Family Gamer Awards are organised by age groups too - Infants, Juniors, Students, Workers, Parents and Seniors. Whether you have Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS lite and PSP, we have a game to suite you and your family.
The Machine is the second in a trilogy of songs reflecting on gaming in general. The first being The Mirror. It is my personal challenge to entitle the third song The (something beginning with M), which does limit things rather.
I am prancing about my garden dressed as an alien, filming my Silent Hill video. Next door two builders are busy at work building an extension. They see the ufo flying by and think nothing of it. Later I come out dressed as a normal human being and they wolf-whistle me. What does it mean, thinks the alien. She does a little bit of research.
Rebecca Mayes is doing something entirely new - releasing her debut album. 'The Epic Win' is out 28th May and brings together her collection of now famous videogame song-reviews.
Monday night is our club ride night, where you'll usually find an assortment of young-at-heart Dads on mountain bikes, many running skinny road tires, the odd road bike, and occassionaly a Dahon Speed TR. My wife said 'you're not going to use that are you? It's cheating'.
It is all go here at Muse Studios. I have spent all week mixing and mastering the tracks for the album (yay! I'm releasing an album). It is amazing to me that I have made 17 songs since I've been with the escapist. That's a lot of songs.
Super excitement! Hit the sexy looking aluminium blue lit power button on the back of the battery to turn the bike on, set the handlebar mounted computer to 'Maximum' (this is sounding like Star Trek?) and rode the bike up our lane, and right up the hill at the top. And boy, this thing has got some go!
The art of collecting is a personal experience. It's one that can send you hunting through the deepest depths of the Internet's vaults, seeking that one special product. As a huge figure collector, often my 'special product' may not mean anything to anybody else.
Dearest fans, I am writing to ask you for your help in promoting my album.
I'm often ask about which games are the best to collect. This depends why are you are collecting. For some it's about archiving their personal favourites. Others collect sealed games becasue they want to preserve the best games in unsoiled condition for generations to come. Other do it becuase of how much these sealed games are worth.
A 5 year old on Christmas Eve would be the best way to describe my childish feelings when opening the Carisma GT-R box last Sunday. Although an old-school Tamiya Hornet die-hard, I was looking forward to experiencing what indoor racing had to offer.
My budget for making movies is three pounds per film, I usually spend it on donuts. For my Mass Effect 2 review I bought a roll of white bin liners and some cellotape. I taped myself into the costume (as documented on camera) and walked up and down the road loading my car with instruments.
